Last night of 24/7 prayer... Some of my boys fell asleep on my lap... I know it sounds silly; but my heart was so full! ...Around 9:30pm I sent the boys to bed and went down to the kitchen to watch the ridiculous end of the Ghana game with the older boys and Mama Linda.  Wow... as Ghana scored you could hear all of the villages errupt with cheers.

Beach day with my boys... played soccer on the beach with an orange wrapped in duct tape!  Awesome!

My roommates bday; woke her up to chocolate cake with peanut butter, banana bread and papayas!  YAY! ...Church with all my boys falling asleep in my lap; then baptisms at the beach.  We were there for over two hours as people from the community got baptized.  People on the beach sang and danced them into the Kingdom. I got baptized by Mel Tari, and when I came back the shore; Tiago and the other boys kept calling me Elena Novo; New Elena! :)

After baptisms, Tetra and I went with a friend from church to her house.  She is a widow who lives next to another two widows that take care of about 8 children.  Two of the women are pretty severely disfigured. As we arrived, she brought out homemade peanut brittle for us to consume! :)  So yummy!

Came back to the base for dinner, danced and sang with my boys in the kitchen.  Then went outside to play cards; by now I have become pretty good at a local card game.  So a tia from the childrens house came down to play with me, then some guards came down and played too.  They kept marveling at how I would shuffle the cards; I tried to teach them...it just ended up that all of us would roll on the groud with laughter.  I love it!
